Breaking it down into section is a good idea, but you really need to be more selective of which election stories you post. If guns aren't an issue I wouldn't bother with them
There isn't a lot of gun political news on the local level every day, unfortunately. I figured I'd get stories about local races and let the people fill in the details about how those candidates are on the gun issue so that it thus creates gun issue political news. I'd do it myself but I can't be everywhere else at once and as I found out from the NYSRPA convention a lot of people simply don't know. I felt I had to get some political content for people to have something about their area to talk about to start--am I wrong? Unless I can get more information and more participation it'll simply be dead on the vine. I'm going to advertise the site with my local gun clubs to see if they'll hop on and start talking at very least. Can that be done on a broad scale with NYSRPA?
I think it's a bit confusing. There are lots of political stories, but most don't relate to the gun issue. I think you need to narrow the focus.
Whatcha think so far of the Laws and Politics section? What can we do better? I'm trying to prime the pump by digging up local political stories as I can find them, often times from you guys as well. Does this work, you think?
