Foreign gun treaty would disarm United States

President Obama and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the United States will commit to and sign the United Nations Small Arms Treaty. This will be the beginning of foreign gun control laws in the U.S. It would prohibit firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public, prohibit the transfer of firearm ownership, and require all U.S. citizens to deliver any semi-automatic weapons they own to the local government for destruction or face imprisonment.

This has already happened in other countries. The Second Amendment will be totally obliterated. They are using the excuse that this will help fight "terrorism," "insurgency," and "crime." This is a cover to grab America's guns from law-abiding citizens. Obama and his liberty-hating cronies are also calling for an international gun registry that would eventually disarm all Americans. The New World Order does not want us to defend ourselves against their tyranny. The United States of America is one of the last places on earth where the citizens have weapons to protect themselves against all evils, even their own government, if need be.

Obama is keeping this treaty shrouded in secrecy so that there will be no gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. Remember what Mr. Charlton Heston said, "From my cold, dead hands ..."

The real problem of foreign arms treaties is that it might tie up surplus ammo and AK parts. That wouldn't be very nice.

That will never happen. The President can sign treaties that require no laws to be passed or invalidated, under his executive power. But this treaty would require laws to be passed or invalidated, and so will need, at the very least, a two-thirds majority vote in the Senate. That's not going to happen. But even if it does, the Supreme court can invalidate the treaty if it is found to be unconstitutional, which this treaty most certainly is. At this moment that treaty is DOA in the USA.

who would enforce this? the UN? I cannot imagine Foreigners driving around the USA with little blue helmets confiscating our firearms! go dis-arm Africa...lets see how that goes for ya. what a joke our leadership has become.
