As you can see, with this forum we're relying on lots of sources to keep us well fed with information to use. We need as many people here as possible to scour for good scoops on local politics and issues--it's a MASSIVE project and can't be done by one or even a handful of people alone. Even if it's just your county or town, at very least you want to know about it and it wouldn't take you but maybe a couple of minutes to let us know about it. Every piece in the puzzle counts.
Looking up campaign contributers via NYS Board of Elections: http://www.elections.state.ny.us/recipientstext.html
Newspapers online across the state: http://www.onlinenewspapers.com/usstate/usnewyor.htm -- This lists lots and lots of local papers. While there's always a lot of truth in "Don't trust the media" at very least it's the info that's out there as a starting point. We can and will refute the bad information when it comes up. Count on it that we will be as brutal as necessary, but we have to first know what they're saying to do so. Sometimes it's the only stuff being said at all.
Other friendly gun sites have info and post LOTS of news. Please be sure to keep it relevent when reposting here; national stuff that pertains to us can be placed here in the general Law and Politics section.
