Because for quick aiming under stress a single bead won't do nearly as well as large sights, and for aiming of slugs naturally you want something more precise than a traditional shotgun bead. This has just as much or more use for home use than LE: all the convenience of a short barrel shotgun without needing to pay $200 for a tax stamp and/or in states where you don't have the option.

I don't see why it wouldn't but why? with all the much better shotguns for shooting clays out there why even try with something like this?

I very much agree, that home has a bigger appeal than LE, but rifle style peep sites in a shotgun..... When shooting regular shot, they are a big time slow down. Plus almost all of us has shot slugs out of a regular shotgun and done very well out to 100 yds with good old shotgun sites.

The upside is, it has a rail on top and a red dot or laser would work like a dream whether shot or slugs.

It's amazing how much difference having the vertical grip makes in added control.

yeah the vertical grip makes a world of difference. I don't think I would ever have it without. The pump action without it is just kind of choppy and not smooth at all because of how short and close it is.
