Laws and Politics Forum Goals

Here are some of our goals for this particular section of the site. It's a very important part of the purpose of the site in general and is in great need as a service for NY gun owners and 2nd Amendment supporters (a fair guess as to who's on here for the most part, right?)

1) Keep up with current state and federal court cases which are important in determining what gun laws will continue to exist and which ones won't, as well as inform and educate about previous ones which establish legal precedent.

2) Report on national, state, and local law issues to educate each other and build a resource for others to learn.

3) Identify legal problems which can be resolved by improvements in law via legislation or litigation.

4) Provide and organize information about currently elected officials and candidates to keep us informed as voters.
