If you noticed the forum was down for a while today that was because we were running an upgrade to the forum software. We still need to run one more upgrade and I will probably do that tonight after midnight.

I ran another quick update tonight.
You'll notice that there may be a Google ad on the forum here and there for the next few days. I'm going to give these ads a shot and see what I think of them after a few days. If they look obnoxious or out of place I"ll get rid of them by the end of the weekend. If the ads aren't too intrusive they should help generate revenue for the site which can be used for advertising and other site expenses and anything additional put into offsetting the cost of hosting some type of annual forum event, maybe a BBQ and shoot type event this summer. Either way my ears are open if anyone thinks the ads do more harm to the site than they do good.
