I learn alot on here. It's like I have an instant owners manual. But once I see it, I got it and I don't forget it!!
Thanks

Well I decided if it aint broke don't fix it. So I bought another Bushnell scope that came today in mail. I now have 5 of the same scopes. I like trying different things, but seem to waste money doing it. Then I just go back to my old proven Bushnell in the end.

I just added a tac latch to mine and it works great with my big chubby fingers.

Hope you can see it..
I have a tac latch on my RRA coyote carbine, It is my first AR and I ordered it that way from factory so I don't know if I would not liked stock one. Seems larger than it needs to be, but I have not hunted with it yet. I have a VXR 3-9 above it and even with it.
There is no reason that your optic should extend past the back of the receiver. I don't want to tell you to change up your form but it sounds like you are too far back on the weapon. The correct way to shoot according to the US Army is with your nose pushed up as close to the charging handle as possible. I run a Trijicon ACOG TA31 and the eye relief on those is not what many people consider good but because I have learned to run my rifle with my face so close to the back of the receiver, the poor eye relief is not a problem whatsoever.
O yea... and if you get a malfunction under stress, your fine motor skills kinda go out the window so you don't want to be having to be all precise trying to get to that charging handle and quickly clear your malfunction.
I put that on my ar to resolve the same problem. worked great
standard charging handles give me a hassle when im not under duress lol. id hate to see a jam in distress lol. Im gonna put a tac on on my next build i think. this next build just keeps getting more and more expensive! )
LOL............... When I finally got the pin out to install my extended latch, My standard latch flew to places unkown.....On my second gun, I put a rag around it, locked myself in bathroom, If it flew!!! I knew it was at least in that room!! LOL
