Your best bet is buying a few different brands/grains and see which one your gun likes the best....

Are you planning to reload or buying factory ammo? I reload, and have had great luck with 130 grain hornady sst's on top of superformance powder. But as mentioned your gun may like another type of ammo. Its always best to try a few to see what fly's the best from your gun. As for the range, that will depend on how far your shooting. Typically heavier bullets have a higher BC and will travel better at range. However lighter bullets get pushed faster, and have less drop out to a range where the higher BC of the heavier bullet has it traveling faster. Simple ballistic curves will show you where the crossover point is. I myself like heavier bullets. Just my $.02

I have been shooting 130 gr hornady sst. Was just looking for suggestions on what might possibly be more accurate and less expensive.

More accurate, and less expensive is hard to do. The Hornadys are priced very well.

There are bullets like Sierra's Matchkings, etc, that are great for accuracy, but don't expand, and are truly meant as an accurate paper breaker, nota hunting round.
