I thought I would share a very refreshing experience I just had. I have an Eotech 512 that was manufactured in 2006, bought in 2007 but has a very low round count on it and spends most of its time in a climate controlled safe. I recently noticed the reticle was distorting towards the left side of the viewing screen and wasn't as bright as I had remembered although it would properly cycle through all of the settings, just at a dimmer rate. I had considered just selling it cheap and trying out an Aimpoint but decided to write Eotech for shits and giggles. From this point on was just mind blowing to me considering the average customer service I/we normally receive. I spoke to an outstanding man named Dan Lelko and explained my problem and without so much as a question or a bat of an eye (even though it's 6 years old) I was sent a no charge RMA # and received the sight back in perfect working order complete with fresh batteries and new allen wrench ALL OF WHICH TOOK ONLY 7 DAYS from the day I mailed it and ALL AT NO CHARGE! I cant remember ever being treated so good by a company or ever receiving such a high level of customer service so needless to say I wont be trying an Aimpoint any time soon lol.
