Nothing really good today at the show. I saw alot of dealers had those newly released T-53's. Ranged in price from $175 to, get this, $275. Saw another table listing them at a similar price and "rare". Guess they didn't notice the large amount at this show alone. Haha! Seemed just as described online, with a rough outside look and dark but serviceable bores. Also saw a Romanian M44 in a Hungarian stock, all matching, for $300! And someone pimp shined the bolt too. Same table had a Russian refurb M44 for $325 I believe. Ugh. Various other extremely overpriced milsurp rifles.

Most interesting piece I saw was a K98 with close to matching parts. Bolt was a match to the rifle, but the barrel bands, screws, and such were not. Stock was too worn to see if it would have been correct. No import mark that I noticed. I was thinking a Vietnam bringback, but there was evidence. Either way, at $700 not worth the price. At the same table I saw another pretty mismatched K98 in what I believe was an Israeli stock. Someone decided to add some fake markings to it to too. It was not convincing to anyone with some knowledge of K98's, so I'm guessing it may have been done by a faker as "practice". At this same table last year I saw a clearly fake "SS" rifle with some bad Death Head markings on it for $800. Hope some poor sukcer didn't end up with it....

Helped a couple gentlemen who were looking into buying an M91/30 refurb as a shooter. Probably the highlight of the show for me. Nothing really good milsurp wise. Same old same old.

And to top it off I got a speeding ticket on the way back to Brockport right before I-90. Suppose I should have been paying more attention, but what can ya do. So while I didn't buy any rifles the trip still ended up costing me a couple hundred in the end. Ha!

Bought my ar there. After I bought it I found this site and the reviews are not very good for the carbon 15. I am new to the ar world as I mainly shoot shotguns and regular long guns. What are the biggest issues with this gun? Thanks.
