Before anybody says anything about not having the bayo lug milled off or the flash hider replaced with a pinned muzzle break... I dont really think this could be considered a semi automatic firearm yet seeing as it dosnt have a bolt... no bolt it cant even be fired so it definitely cant be fired semi automatically... But I will have it 100% compliant before long

Will probably go with a magpul MOE forearm for a little while then Upgrade to the daniel defense omega rail down the road If I decide I really need rails and free float... will save me a bit of money short term so I can get this thing to the range a little sooner and try it out

The magpul MOE looks good and feels good. Rails can be added to it later on. For the buck its a great way to go. I can't see droping the cash for a more expensive rail while trying to work with a budget.

Im really not trying to keep within a budget on this gun but now that its so close to being able to be taken to the range if I can afford to finish it when I get my next paycheck by getting the moe forearm I probably will... if not then I will just get the DD rail with whatever else I need the following week...

Not sure where I will take it to get the compliance stuff done... probably either jacksons guns and ammo or allstar tactical...

Best way I know of to put in the front pivot pin is to use a pair of hemostats to hold the detent with and push it down, then slip a glasses repair screwdriver over the top of it and slide the pivot pin on top.

I brought the upper and lower to Allstar tactical and had them do the compliance stuff to it (bayo lug removal, pin weld of pws fsc556, and pin my stock)

Mike broke 2 drill-bits in the process but did a good job... he even threw in a free tshirt since I was waiting around while he went to lowes to get more bits!

I would recommend them to anybody looking for compliance mods and will use allstar tactical in the future...

will get the rest of the stuff I need to finally take this ar to the range when I get my next pay check (bcg, charging handle, moe forearm, mbuis rear sight and lots of ammo)

Yeah, one fo the few lessons learned for drill bits on gunsmithing is, get the good machining bits to start with. Even then there are no guarantees.

Took it to the range today for first time and shot 3 boxes of tulammo through it (thats all walmart had) and it ran flawlessly... Didnt have the best accuracy but I didnt expect it to since I wasn't really trying to shoot tight groups was just making sure everything worked right...
