Default MY finds so far metal detecting this year

as you know I have been laid up. well I am slowly getting out for an hour or two to do my other hobby metal detecting! I upgraded to a Minelab E-trac this year...it can smell silver a mile away!
here are some of my finds so far:

Nice haul. That ring with the flowers looks like one I gave my wife years ago.

Is silver harder to detect than iron or steel? How about copper?

iron is everywhere..we have to discriminate it out to find the "goods" silver screams out to be found! copper ids a little more difficult but not bad but Gold is the curse! Gold comes in at the same range as pulltabs, some aluminum, and foil...so you dig ALOT of trash to find Gold!

    Wow, that's really awesome!

I love this hobby...it is addicting! so far this year I have been contacted and voluntarily found two lost rings for people. that's abig reward in itself. finding old coins, whether they are worth something or not is the coolest part. my oldest is 1819..that coin was dropped almost 200 years ago and would never have been found if not for me! I love it!
I do dig other things as well
here is all my "junk" from last year(minus the foil, aluminum, and rusty iron that I threw away)

You found glass marbles? Wow, those high end detectors are better than I thought.

Some of those finds make me wonder what the story is behind them. Like a faucet stem - how do you lose something like that?

yeh marbles are common to find in holes while digging coins. I had a few collectable ones that dated 1900ish so I gave them to a collector.
