I haven't been there in a few weeks but all I can say is get there early. Meaning, they don't allow shooting to start until noon. Every-time I have gone there, there have been people at all the berms already. If you don't get there early then probably getting there mid afternoon might be OK, say after 3pm.

I am LEO and don't get many weekends off so I have been going during the week and you would be amazed how many people are already there shooting. It is probably 10 times worse on the weekends.

Strange they named the place that, doesn't resemble my home very much at all. No barbecue pork, alligators, cottonmouths, fried catfish, cornbread, 100 degrees w/ 100% humidity for 4-5 months, SEC football on the radio, dove hunting...nothing.

It's not so strange. I don't think anyone who's ever named a town in western New York had a creative bone in his body. Not when you can drive from Charlotte to Greece to Egypt to Newark in an hour.
