My PA non-resident license just expired. I had it issued by our friend Sheriff Denny Nau of Centre County, PA. A year ago or so PA passed a law saying that you had to renew/apply in person. Since Centre County is too far for me, I live in Putnam County, I decided to apply closer to home. I called Pike County which is in NE Pa, thinking this would be a cinch and done in a day. Was I surprised when they told me it would entail 3 visits?!?!
WTH??? Anyone know of a county in Pa, close to the Jersey border, in northeast Pa, where one could walk in and get it done at the same time? Is this even possible anywhere in Pa? Would Centre County issue one right away since it originated there? Thanks

PS: I have a Florida non-resident, so I may just go with that and be happy. The Pa non-resident used to be sooooo easy to get.
