    Default Winter Storm

Anybody get hit with the storm last night? We got 8" of snow and lost power until 11 minutes ago. Hopefully this is the last of the cold for a while.

It was heavy snows and whiteout but mostly just rain and cold. I got lucky.

The snow was heavy here too. There are a few trees down around the yard.

Yes, that is weird. I wonder if it was just my road then.

We had maybe an inch of snow this morning, and it all melted off through the day. No power issues at all. I really expected worse since this is ice storm season.

That is how it was in Dansville (about 10 minutes from me). Hopefully the weather warms up this week because I have to get out to the shop to install a few over head lights for the build party this weekend.

I watched that weather system come up the East Coast on radar all day yesterday. You probably got plastered because you're on the east side of the ridge, but Dansville is behind it.

We had an inch or two scattered around. It didn't completely cover the lawn, but I had to slosh through a few spots. Some slush on the road to the babysitter, and a 2 hr delay I can't figure out.... o_O This is Newark Valley. We get 4 or 5 inches and the buses roll on time. In laws may have lost power for a little bit, but we were fine. It did make me buy some more wood pellets though since I don't know when it'll warm up again. lol
