My Logic ???
As a hunter, and not many places now days to hunt with most farmers gone now or sold off. I have sold almost all of my guns and moved to the AR. In learning them now I have found that with all the options, I can cover every hunting sittuation in (region8) with just one gun - the AR, plus one shotgun for birds or room broom. Only problem now is... I'm hooked and keep buying Ar's or goodies LOL And to think I had guns for everything that was never needed Grin.
When someone says it can't be done.... They are usually interrupted by someone who is already doing it.

The AR is by far the most versatile weapon system out there currently. You can easily convert it to shoot anything from .22lr to 6.8, etc.

If you need an excuse to buy a different gun, maybe you could try venturing out of region 8? I bet Montana would give you an urge to carry something other than the AR. I'm pretty sure they don't make a .45-70 Government upper.
Although I imagine there are better hunting cartridges for big game that do have AR uppers available.

Nope don't want any other guns. Here to learn the AR only! But if I was in Montana I would just use the 7.62 AR and still be fine.... LOL

One can never have to many guns....whatchya gonna do if the "only" has a failure in a battle? Sure you can buy all sorts of cool stuff for an AR but limiting yourself to one gun...foolish. JMHAO (just my half assed opinion)

Besides........ A radical man needs something to look forward to each weekend. And with the AR I get new goodies every week, LOL. Only problem is they end up being wall hangers, They weigh as much as Think_Agains BARRETT LOL.
