NO Pistol permit upgrade from Target to Business for my job. Guess i'll be waiting the Full 6weeks.... Meanwhile Jobs are going faster than there coming. Un-F**king-Believable!

I really wish i could sue this state for back wages on a salary i couldn't earn because i was waiting on some freaking moron to stamp a piece of paper thats taken them 5weeks already!

It is ridiculous that you have to upgrade at all. Up here a "target" permit is a rarity in most counties.

Just wondering if your employer wrote a letter, or called re: the upgrade? Sometimes that helps. If you haven't gotten the job yet, nor the required training, you will have to wait, no doubt.

Training is done,Certificates and crap been paid for, Employer wrote letter (I submitted it with my upgrade application) Blah,Blah,Blah. Everything required of me i have surrendered. The only thing that has changed is that instead of missing out on 1 very needed positions of employment i missed out on 2! These Liberal fcks are a piece of work i swear it! If your not a Cop or a former police officer then its almost as if you have no right's in regards. I wont even begin to bitch about what the freakin Moron on the telephone told me about obtaining a pistol permit for work in NYC...its not even worth it!

Called today to get some status on my request for an upgrade and was told the Detectives still have not approved my paperwork and returned my file..Also found out although there paperwork clearly states "4-6 Week Return" and today is the last day of the 6week, They also have the right to take longer.
