The Gripper is a good choice and you can find them for a decent price on the internet. Let me know and I will send you a few links. My last one I paid $55 for + shipping.

It is an everyday thing because I work (as you know) in a non-permissive environment for firearms. But there are no rules/regs for knives. The pocket clip on my folder is visible while the SFB is not.

Mainly, the SFB I carry is an integral part of my personal defense profile geared toward multi-disciplinary proficiency providing me the tools necessary to transition between skill sets through various ranges of engagement. And as stated previously the SFB is faster and easier to access under pressure. Why would I carry an inferior tool when I have a legal, superior option available to me?

Here are examples of 4 different SFB options:

    Clinch Pick

    Emerson LaGriffe

    Hideaway

    TDI

Any or all of these can be set up for strong hand access but can also be accessed with the support hand with some training. Or, a dedicated support hand set up can be EDC.

Here you go bro. You may have to copy and paste the link. For some reason the links from 1sks redirect back here to NYShooters.net. Never seen such a thing before but it did it with the link I posted for Ed in a previous post.

Weird, it seems to only do that with that website. Have you seen it happen with links to any other websites? I'll look into it.

ETA: It appears that the redirecting back to here has to do with something relating to how their product search is setup on their site. If you look in the "Testing" forum at the bottom here the link to their site only redirects if it is linked in the one format.

Go to www.1sks.com and type in the product name, the way they have their product search done causes linking to that product to redirect back here.

Isn't that place AWESOME! God, I spent several hours in there years ago.

Rich - that is the weirdest thing the way they have the re-direct on that site. You would think that they would WANT people to link to their products. I wonder if they know.
